Last week: Tumwater beat Timberline 48-10; La Center lost to Woodland 28-26.
Last meeting: Tumwater won 41-0 in 2014.
Players to watch: Tumwater RB Griffin Shea rushed for 168 yards and two TDs in a Week 1 win, but left last week’s game early with a mild concussion. La Center RB Dalton Morgan rushed for 177 yards and two TDs vs. Woodland after not getting a carry in Week 1.
Game notes: The Thunderbirds rolled past Timberline despite missing several key players. In addition to Shea, QB Noah Andrews sat out with flu-like symptoms. WR Easton Trakel, who scored 15 TDs last year, is nursing a hamstring injury. Yet Tumwater has the depth. … La Center QB Jeremy Scott has passed for 100 yards in two games.
