Three county athletic teams are WIAA winter academic state champions

The list of winter sports season academic state champions was released the WIAA and it included a trio of Clark County sports teams.

The Camas boys basketball teams, led by coach Skyler Gillispie and AD Rory Oster, had the top team GPA in the Class 4A with a 3.707 GPA.

And Clark County not only dominates girls bowling on the lanes, but it also dominates girls bowling in the classroom.

The Union girls bowling team, led by coach Alex Perry and AD Gary McGarvie, led Class 4A with a 3.813 team GPA.

The Prairie girls bowling team, led by coach Jeanne Saxton and AD Andy Schoonover, topped Class 3A with a 3.570 GPA.
