Clippers owner Ballmer used financial clout to help Lakeside High basketball
According to a Seattle Times story, before he became the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, Steve Ballmer had been working on building a basketball champion at Lakeside School in Seattle.
All three of Ballmer’s kids have been involved with basketball at Lakeside. So Ballmer used his financial clout as the former CEO of Microsoft toward helping out Lakeside basketball. But, according to the Times report, some of the efforts bordered on violations of WIAA rules.
