4A district basketball playoff format set
The athletic directors of the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League announced Monday that the district basketball playoffs will be a one-day event to be held on Monday, Feb. 10.
This will be the format for both boys and girls basketball.
The No. 4 seed will play at No. 3 seed. The winner is the No. 3 seed to the bi-district tournament. The loser is out.
The No. 2 seed will play at the No. 1 seed. The winner will be the No. 1 seed to the bi-district. The loser will be the No. 2 seed.
Should tiebreaker games be needed after the conclusion of league play on Wednesday, tiebreaker games will be played on Friday.
The bi-district tournament begins on Feb. 13.
