Hudson’s Bay hires Boone for girls basketball post
The Hudson’s Bay Eagles are going back in time with the girls basketball program.
Former coach Nancy Boone is the new coach.
Boone was Bay’s coach for three seasons starting with the 2003-04 campaign and had two winnings seasons with the Eagles.
She left to become the head coach for the Clark College women’s program, where she was through the 20011-12 season. Clark went 21-8 in her final season.
“She’s a perfect fit for the building,” said Stoney Myers, Bay’s athletic director. “She already has a relationship with our student-athletes.”
Boone remained on staff as a teacher at Bay during her time as Clark College’s coach.
Myers also said Boone fits in with Bay’s positive coaching philosophy of building up athletes through enthusiasm.
