Recently a group of community leaders and children came together for a performance of “When Christmas Comes to Town,” to promote a holiday toy drive for the Children’s Center.

It’s an inspiring sight: People who disagree on just about everything coming together, singing from the same page:

Participants included Clark County Commissioner-elect David Madore, Vancouver City Councilors Larry Smith and Jack Burkman, local dudes Gary Bock and Jim Mains, Sheriff Garry Lucas, and The Daily Couve blogger Temple Lentz.

Now, as readers of The Daily Couve know, Lentz is not a fan of Madore’s politics.

And yet, Santa brought them together.
