Stuart starts a bear hug fest

Perhaps the finest moment in all of Clark County commission history occurred at Tuesday’s public hearing when Smokey The Bear showed up and gave out hugs.

Look at this photo I posted on my Twitter account (which you all should be following):

It appeared Smokey The Bear was excited to see the commissioners.

BUT WAIT!

A closer examination of the tape shows it was Commissioner Steve Stuart who started the hugging.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Look at who has their arms out first. That appears to be the look of a man who has been hunting for a good bear hug for some time now.

And Smokey was willing to oblige.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then Commissioner David Madore got in on the action.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And Commissioner Tom Mielke tried to get in a handshake…
