She’s a survivor

Andrea Damewood went to a Metro meeting today on the Columbia River Crossing.

The meeting lasted six hours. SIX HOURS. The Metro folks even took a dinner break, leaving everyone else to sit and wait for 30 minutes, according to assistant news editor Mark Bowder, who received a few phone updates from Andrea.

Andrea had to sit and listen to points she has heard a million times over, and she’s only been covering the CRC since late April when Erik Robinson left the newspaper.

She Tweeted that there were tears (not hers.)

Andrea now has bragging rights among the meeting mavens. She even outlasted the spokesman for Metro.
