Put that in your biomass plant and smoke it
The Clark County Commissioners put a six-month moratorium on allowing people to grow medical marijuana gardens Tuesday morning.
During their Wednesday board time, it was clear Commissioner Steve Stuart had been doing some brainstorming on how to mix controversial topics.
If illegal gardens are caught, officials won’t want to burn it in the middle of the neighborhood, Stuart reasoned.
“Can we put it in the biomass plant?” he joked.
County lobbyist Mike Burgess jumped right in: “Then, a bunch of hot dog stands might pop up next to it. That’s economic development!”
“We might have a happier downtown,” Stuart replied.
