Our own Li’l Sebastian!

Regular readers of this blog may have picked up on our love for NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” the best show ever set in local government. (Sorry, “Spin City.”)

“Parks and Rec” watchers surely remember the death of Li’l Sebastian, the town’s celebrity miniature horse.

The parks department decided a funeral was in order, because, to quote Ron Swanson, the awesomely macho department chief: “I have cried twice in my life. Once when I was seven and I was hit by a school bus. And then again when I heard that Li’l Sebastian had passed.”

We here in the newsroom now understand the love for a miniature horse.

The photo shoot was for an upcoming Weekend cover, but here’s a sneak peak of Spanky and his li’l friend, D.
