Hanging with the boys club
It’s pure coincidence, but one day after we here at The Columbian run a story about the declining number of women in local politics, both the ladies on the Vancouver City Council were MIA.
They weren’t run off by the boy’s club or anything – Jeanne Stewart is in Washington D.C. for a National League of Cities meeting, and Jeanne Harris also had an excused absence.
The fellas took care of the rather light agenda just fine.
