Commissioner Boldt to President Boldt?

Clark County Commissioner Marc Boldt may one day become President Boldt.

No, not that president.

Boldt was elected secretary/treasurer of the Washington State Association of Counties. He’ll serve in the position for one year, and will likely move up the leadership ladder to vice president and, eventually, president.

Boldt was elected to the executive leadership by association members. The nonprofit association’s members include elected commissioners, council members and executives in Washington counties.

The results were announced at the association’s 104th annual meeting last week in Spokane.

Skamania County Commissioner Paul Pearce was elected vice president, and Snohomish County Councilman John Koster was named president.
