Bored in board assignments

After some tension in the run-up to today’s nine hour long budget retreat, the Vancouver City Council assigned its seven members to boards and commissions with nary a kerfuffle.

Councilor Jeanne Stewart had rallied to reclaim her C-Tran board seat, from which she was booted in early 2011.

But Mayor Tim Leavitt recommended her for the Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Committee instead — and, she was cool with that.
