We are pleased to announce that, for the second year in a row, our little blog has been named one of the best in the country by Editor & Publisher.

Finalists for the 2012 EPPY Awards were announced last month.

We lost to Digital First Media, so we should be receiving our “Honorable Mention” certificate any day now. Sigh. Always a nominee, never a winner. We are the Leonardo DiCaprio of newspaper blogs.
