A picture worth 800 trees

Following up on Tuesday’s poetry reading during public comment at the Clark County Commissioners’ meeting, I arrived at board time on Wednesday and someone handed me this photograph.

All you need to know is Jack Davis (and his poetry-reading friend Jim, who does not live next to the sports fields) have been decrying the county’s plans to remove 400 trees in order to develop Luke Jensen Sports Park.

So here’s the photograph. It shows how many trees the county cleared to make way for Jack’s precious neighborhood.
