Dry Weather For Grand Floral Parade
Do you like your Grand Floral Parade dry? Well, you may just be in luck this year. Unlike many Rose Festivals of the past, this year looks like it will go down as a good one in the weather department. It has been relatively dry for the entire run of the rose fest so far. I don’t see any really warm weather coming, but nothing to cold and wet either. Temperatures will be in the 60’s to lower 70’s over the next few days, which is a little below normal for this time of the year. But I don’t hear anyone complaining after a very cold and wet spring. Like me, everyone is waiting for extended warm and dry weather but will take what we can get for now. Looking ahead to next week, some models are beginning to hint at a ridge of high pressure that would build over the Pacific Northwest and allow some “real” heat to build in here. We all know that things can change between now and then.
Stay tuned!
