Big day for Ashton Clark in Eastern Washington win

Heritage grad Ashton Clark caught 11 passes for 181 yards in Eastern Washington’s 35-24 FCS quarterfinal win over Jacksonville State on Saturday.

He caught a 41-yard touchdown pass (see highlight above) to pull Eastern even at 21 just before halftime.

The Eagles racked up 545 yards on offense. Starting center Ashton Miller (Evergreen) and starting left guard Stephen Forgette (Heritage) cleared the way for Quincy Forte, who rushed for 190 yards.

Eastern Washington will host Towson in the FCS semifinals next weekend.
