Chief of civil department endorses Golik for prosecutor
Clark County Deputy Prosecutor Tony Golik has focused on his criminal law background in his campaign for prosecuting attorney, and every law enforcement agency in the county has backed him.
Now, the chief deputy prosecutor on the civil side of the prosecutor’s office is latching onto Golik’s bid to replace retiring Prosecuting Attorney Art Curtis.
In a statement released this week, Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor E. Bronson Potter said he has endorsed Golik because he has “experience necessary” to lead the office and has personally prosecuting some of most serious criminal cases in our county.
Golik’s opponent, Vancouver senior assistant city attorney Brent Boger, has already been endorsed by Curt Wyrick, the chief deputy prosecutor.
Golik and Boger will square off in the Nov. 2 general election.
