Clark County donations to Obama, Romney exceed 2,700

More than 2,700 donations to Barack Obama’s or Mitt Romney’s presidential campaigns were made by people living in Clark County, according to data provided by the Federal Election Commission.

The database allows the public to see who’s made a direct donation to either candidate, what city each donor lives in, and the size of each donation. The database does not include information about people who donated indirectly to the candidates through political action committees, or Super PACs.

Here’s a breakdown of the number of donations made to Obama and Romney in Clark County:

Vancouver: 1,521 donations to Obama and 389 donations to Romney

Ridgefield: 77 donations to Obama and 22 donations to Romney

Battle Ground: 133 donations to Obama and 26 donations to Romney

Camas: 223 donations to Obama, 79 donations to Romney

Washougal: 119 donations to Obama, 23 donations to Romney

La Center: 22 donations to Obama, 10 donations to Romney

Brush Prairie: 41 donations to Obama, 13 donations to Romney

Yacolt: 18 donations to Romney, five donations to Obama

Amboy: five donations to Obama, one donation to Romney
