Crist wins progressives’ endorsement

Olympia peace candidate Cheryl Crist has won the endorsement of the Washington State Progressive Caucus in her campaign for the 3rd Congressional District seat.

Candidates seeking the backing of the caucus must have demonstrated their support for health care reform, publicly funded elections and civil rights for all.

Crist, a member of the caucus and a longtime activist, has called for an end to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. She vows to end the influence of special interests if elected.
