Falling into Romance

I think fall is the most romantic time of the year. I know, I know. Most people would say spring with all the newly blooming flowers and soft, sweet air. Or maybe summer–hot weather, hot romance. Even winter has its fans–snug and warm inside while the snow flies.

But give me autumn every time. The light is amazing, sun slanting through gold and russet leaves. The air is cool and crisp, like a sweet apple. The occasional rain greens up the grass made brown by summer heat. Oh, and my birthday is in the fall. What isn’t to like about that?

And fall food–soups, apple pie, hot cider, cocoa–what’s not romantic about that? On Friday, I’ll share a friend’s apple pie recipe–and we can all play Eve and tempt with apples.

So, what’s your favorite season for romance?
