Writing About Romantic Food

One of the advantages of writing romance novels is the chance to meet, either in person or on line, some of the most interesting, most supportive and creative women I’ve ever known. They live in all parts of the globe and are of all ages and stages of life. They share a couple of things I admire: a sense of humor about themselves and life and the need for chocolate. Okay, that’s not all. They also know how to cook up a romantic meal or two. Some of them include the details in their work, as I do. Some of them even expand that interest into their own beautiful blogs.

So today I want to recommend a couple blogs for you to check out. I’m sure there are more but these are two of my personal faves.

The first is Jennifer Lowery’s Romantic Recipes. Every week she features two authors and their recipes as well as their books. (In the interest of full disclosure, my books and recipes have been featured on her site several times.) Her page is beautiful, the books she writes interesting as are the authors she generously spotlights. Here’s the link to her site: http://romancerecipes.wordpress.com/about-2/

The second site I’ve only recently discovered but with a name like “chocolate box writers” you’ll understand why I couldn’t resist checking it out. Again, the women on this site are all writers. They live in Canada, Australia, the U.S. and England where they write books and publish yummy recipes. Here’s their link: http://www.chocolateboxwriters.com/home/

Take a look. You might find some ideas for what to make for your significant other. I did.
