Fair Food Feast Parade ~ Day 8!
We didn’t get to start eating at the Fair today until about 2:00pm. Ahh, life. Nevertheless, I think I did a pretty good job making up for lost time. Here’s today’s Parade!
Delicious “Rancher” grilled cheese sandwich from Get Cheezed. It had chicken, bacon, Monterey Jack, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and ranch dressing. Get one!
Strawberry Cookies ‘n Cream. That’s right, you can mix them! It was really really good.
Strawberry fruit drink from the Smashers booth next to Get Cheezed. It was very refreshing and pretty healthy. And a very good value for the Fair. That big cup cost $4.
Deep Fried Coke from a new booth that replaced the Pad Thai one outside of the Food Court. They didn’t have the Coke syrup until today so we finally tried it. Ick. Hardly any Coke flavor. Just dough. My recommendation: skip it.
Frozen pink lemonade from the Dogville (aka Young Life) booth. Always a good bet. Nice and tangy.
My favorite Pad Thai booth outside of the Food Court is missing this year. Boo!! So I tried the Pad That from the Yakisoba booth in the Food Court across from the Lions booth. Verdict: I want the other booth back! This Pad Thai was bland, no peanut sauce or green onions, and the serving size was a lot smaller. I loaded it up with Sriracha sauce but I was still disappointed.
Demo Derby snack of Hot Tamales candies. I really wish they would make those boxes to re-close better.
Corn dog night cap from the Lions booth. Mmmmm.

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
