Fair Food Feast Parade ~ Day 5

My appetite has returned!!  Behold the proof:

P1060210

Pink frozen lemonade from the Dogville stand. So thick at first, I had to eat it with a fork. Very refreshing

P1060218

Bacon wrapped jalapeno battered sausage. It took me until about half-way through to decide I wasn’t a big fan. Not bad, just not nearly as interesting as it sounded. Nevertheless, I ate the whole thing.

P1060230

Pink marshmallows dipped in white chocolate and sprinkled with peppermint chunks. It was a free sample near the canning displays. I had several. Pretty tasty!

P1060243

Corn from the Dogville stand. My favorite! Buttery goodness.

P1060256

One of about 5 free sample from the Game Jerky booth. I think this one was kangaroo. I liked it. It was sweet and chewy. Not a big fan of the wild boar.

P1060263

Arnold Palmer (iced tea and lemonade). It strangely had a coconut flavor to it. I didn’t really like it but I finished it.

P1060270

Not a fan of the Thai Chicken Bowl. Among other things, I think it was too healthy. It had brown rice in it. And not much Thai flavor. I only finished about half.

P1060273

My hubby was kind enough to share his much more satisfying salty, greasy french fries. MUCH better.

P1060282

Chocolate brownie that my friend John at the Mount Hood Territory van near the sea lions gave me. John is nice. I like John.

P1060319

Skeptical of a new version of elephant ear. It is made from beignet dough. It was a tiny bit better than other elephant ears, but it was so small! And cost $1 more than others much larger. It tasted fine but for the value, I’ll go somewhere else.

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
