Fair Food Feast Parade ~ Day 4

My appetite is making a come back!!!  Today’s Parade wasn’t mighty but it sure was in the right direction.  REAL food in REAL quantities. Not meager popcorn leftovers from the day before.  WHOO HOO!

Strawberry Lemonade from Patrick’s Hawaiian Cafe. Honestly, not enough flavor. Fine but sort of boring.

Yakisoba from Patrick’s Hawaiian Cafe. HIGHLY recommended. So much more flavor than the other yakisoba offerings in the food court (my hubby tried some the other day and let me sample. Boring!).

Frozen fruit smoothie — half strawberry, half pina colada. Once I mixed them together, it was quite enjoyable. The pina colada by itself was too coconutty – and I like coconut.

Very pleased with this basic vanilla ice cream bar dipped in chocolate from the booth next to the Burger Buggy. I remember their chocolate dipped bananas from last year were good, too.

North Carolina BBQ Dog from the Dogville stand. Large, flavorful hot dog topped with coleslaw and not quite enough BBQ sauce. Very tasty, though.

Strangely, I tend to crave root beer at the Fair every year. No idea why. However, I am thrilled that I wanted a root beer tonight! Yay returning appetite!!

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
