Rooting for carnage and wreckage

We’re in “our spot” in the Grandstands again, this time for the evening show of the Demolition Derby.  YAAAY!

The professional driver heat just finished.  There were ten old school American classics, all derbied up with reinforcements and such.  They are basically tanks with bench seats and 8-track players.

There are very few empty spots in the Grandstands, and we are all cheering the loudest for huge hits and smoke and dropped fenders.  God bless America.

There are several more rounds to go, with an extra special finale.  Closing the show will be an RV Derby.  I see five old campers parked out near the firetruck, just waiting to be peeled apart panel by panel.  I can’t wait!!

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
