You might have noticed I haven’t mentioned much about the carnival area of the Fair.  Truth is, I’m a 46-year-old woman with chronic back pain and surgical scars, so rides are a no-no for me.  Except for the Ferris wheel with the round cups and gorgeous sunsets.  That I can handle.

So unfortunately, I can not be a resource for which rides are the scariest and most nauseating (if you are a teenager,  that is redundant).

However, I can tell you that I have noticed the screaming for the new ride, Freak Out, starts pretty much immediately.  And people take off their shoes and lose keys and cell phones while spinning and swinging.  I got a little queasy just watching the ride from the ground, so I am going to guess it’s a pretty good add this year.  If you’ve been on it, tell me how it was!

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
