Fair Food Feast Parade ~ Day 6

Today’s Fair Food Feast Parade began with…breakfast!  How novel!

P1240095

Great breakfast from the chicken-and-Mexican-food place next door to the Dairy Women Milkshake booth. Scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. And condiments. I love ketchup and Tabasco!

P1240099

In real life, I allow myself one soft drink per week. So if I don’t have another one until next Wednesday…

P1240159

My post-shift milkshake — chocolate strawberry. I made it myself!

P1240184

Corn dog from the Lions Booth. They are so friendly there!

P1240188

Brick-o-fries from the Jumbo Burger place just outside of the Food Court. Rob and I shared these and polished them off pretty quickly. They were just right — not too greasy like bricks sometimes are.

P1240193

Lime and Tiger’s Blood Hawaiian Shaved Ice. This one wasn’t very good. There wasn’t enough syrup on it so it tasted mostly like ice. I got this from the stand next to the sea lions. I like the ones from the grandstands location better.

P1240196

My favorite candy when I was a kid. Cinnamon is a very good thing.

P1240199

Old fashioned strawberry lemonade. Mmmm! Just right for watching bull riding.

P1240200

Grape suckers from the Metro PCS people. They gave me 3!

P1240257

Late-night deep fried Oreo Cookie. Erik at Sweet Cheeks reached for the Cookie Dough when he saw me. I’m a regular!! As for the Oreo, it was good but a little too much dough. Or not enough Oreo.

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
