Mutton Bustin’ is wooly fun!

We just watched the Mutton Bustin’ competition in the Grandstands.  It is always one of my favorite events.  I mean, little kids clinging to sheep as if they were bull riders??  What’s not to love about that??  SO cute!  And with helmets and spotters, it is surprisingly safe all things considered.

There were 44 hangers-on entered this afternoon.  The top ten have advanced to tonight’s competition with the bull riding at 7:00pm.  We’ll be getting our seats early!

[Note to Kelsea’s mom:  I wrote about her ride over on my personal blog if you wanna take a peek on Woodhaven Ramblings]

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
