It’s been a hot few days at the Fair.  Luckily there are lots of shady spots, the air conditioned Exhibition Hall, and Dairy Women milkshakes to help keep everyone cool.

This year, I have also noticed more walk-thru misters scattered around the Fairgrounds.  YAY!!  The most popular one is just outside of the Food Court, but keep your eyes out.  I found one out by the Bee Barn that had no line.  Score!

Another nice thing about the misters:  with a breeze, you can just park yourself down wind and get a refreshing spray without having to stand in line.  Cheating?  I prefer “strategic.”

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
