Jugglemania is a ball!

My favorite juggler is back!  I became a Jugglemania fan last year.  Rhys Thomas’s show is hysterical.  His humor is like a really good lasagna – lots of layers.  He’s got physical comedy, good-naturedly teases kids like that favorite uncle, and slips puns in just to see who is paying attention.  For instance, today he had a kid helper from the audience named Owen.  Without missing a toss of a bean bag, Rhys quipped, “That’s my economic status.”

Rob and I laughed through the entire show, enough that a few people looked at us.  Quirky nerds unite!

Even if the guy wasn’t funny, Jugglemania would still be a must-see.  Rhys juggles a variety of objects in impressive quantities, unicycles, does Chinese yo-yo tricks, spins balls better than the sea lions, and incorporates fire and sharp objects.

Go see Jugglemania!  It’s on the Columbian Community Stage in the shadow of the slingshot ride.  Remaining show times are:

  • Tuesday:  2:00pm and 5:00pm
  • Thursday and Friday:  2:00pm
  • Saturday and Sunday:  11:00am

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
