Great seating alternative to the Food Court

We arrived just in time for lunch.  Go figure!  It’s a warm day so shade and breeze are very good things to find.  We got our lunches and really wanted someplace else to eat than the often warm and stuffy Food Court.

Turns out there is a wonderful yellow-and-white striped tent south of the Food Court by the Orange Gate, east of the Beer Garden at the Grandstands.  There are about 10 picnic tables here, all shady and with a wonderful breeze wafting through.  It’s a great find!

The only slight issue is there is only one set of trash cans just far enough away that everyone seems to be using a can set up for food vendors instead. Conveniently, it is next to an industrial sink that is getting lots of public use, too.

I am a Clark County Fair Fanatic and eat all things fried during the glorious 10 days of The Fair. I have lived in Clark County since 2004 and consider it the second-best decision of my life. I am married to a great guy named Rob (first-best decision) who graciously carries my stuff and takes my picture every time I eat something at The Fair. We have two indoor cats and lots of deer, rabbits, and coyotes who are kind enough to stay outside.
