Battle Ground football scrimmage, food drive set for Thursday
The Battle Ground football program does not just scrimmage. It scrimmages with a cause.
The Tigers will hold its annual Black/Orange Scrimmage and Food Drive at 7 p.m. Thursday at District Stadium.
Admission is free, but the program is asking fans to donate food for the North County Community Food Bank and the Battle Ground High School Food Pantry.
Freshman, junior varsity and varsity players will each play two quarters.
This will be the fifth year that Battle Ground’s scrimmage has coincided with a food drive.
