We love the shot clock
For baseball fans, perhaps Iowa is heaven, as noted in the movie Field of Dreams.
For basketball fans, it must be hell.
A high school team in Iowa won the tip in the second overtime of a playoff game, then held the ball. And held the ball. And held the ball. There was one possession in overtime. One shot. The shot beat the buzzer. Game winner. Other team never had the ball.
Oh joy!
