Former Heritage, Union track coach in Hall of Fame
Mike Burdick, who launched the track and field programs at Heritage High School and then Union High School, has been inducted into the Washington State Track and Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Burdick, now retired, was inducted in a ceremony in Everett over the weekend.
Burdick has more than 30 years of track and field coaching experience.
He joins Lee Cave (Columbia River) and John Eagle (Fort Vancouver) as Clark County coaches in the hall of fame.
