Battle Ground scrimmage and food drive Thursday night
Battle Ground football will have scrimmages for all three programs — varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen — at 7 p.m. Thursday night at District Stadium, and the Tigers are asking that fans bring food for the North County Community Food Bank.
Last year’s Black/Orange Scrimmage and Food Drive collected more than 1,000 pounds of food.
Admission is free. Those who bring in at least 15 items of food (with a retail value of at least $15) will receive a Battle Ground T-shirt.
Concessions will be open, as well, and fan gear will be on sale.
