Reports: Battle Ground's Haynes going to CWU
Northwest Elite Index and the Battle Ground Tigers twitter page is reporting that Kevin Haynes will play football for Central Washington University.
Haynes rushed for 316 yards in Week 1 of the 2012 season. He finished the campaign with 1,285 yards and 12 touchdowns, leading the Tigers to a 5-4 record. It was Battle Ground’s first winning season since 2003.
Haynes was voted to The Columbian’s All-Region team.
Haynes will join several players from Southwest Washington already on Central Washington’s roster.
Jesse Zalk of Prairie, Gabe Rego of Union, Kaben Humphrey-Butler of Union, and Cedrique Chaney of Kelso were on the Central roster this past season.
