Football game times set

Clark County football fans hoping to see both La Center and Camas play this week in the state quarterfinals will get that opportunity, provided they can make it from Battle Ground to Camas within about 90 minutes.

La Center will host Mount Baker at 1 p.m. Saturday at Battle Ground’s District Stadium in the Class 1A state playoffs

Camas will host Federal Way at Doc Harris Stadium at 5 p.m Saturday in the Class 4A state playoffs.

If the La Center game ends by 3:30, fans would have an hour-and-a-half to get to Doc Harris Stadium. Plenty of time.

(Doh! At one point, this blog items incorrectly listed Camas as hosting Battle Ground, not Federal Way. Had the city of Battle Ground on my mind because that is where La Center is playing in the 1 p.m. game. Figured most of you figured it out on your own, but just to be certain, Battle Ground is not playing in the 4A state quarterfinals.)
