Week 10 high school football player of the week nominees
Nominees for The Columbian’s high school football player of the week for Week 10 of the season. To avoid any teammates canceling each other out in the voting, nominees are limited to one per team.

WYATT AGUIRRE, LA CENTER: Aguirre rushed for 143 yards on 11 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Wildcats’ win over Elma.
TRENT COWAN, UNION: Cowan caught seven passes for 106 yards and touchdown, rushed for 44 yards on four carries, intercepted three passes, defended on two others and added a 21-yard field goal in the Titans’ win over Graham-Kapowsin.
ZACH EAGLE, CAMAS: Eagle caught nine passes for 118 yards and a touchdown in the Papermakers’ win over South Kitsap.
REMICK KAWAWAKI, COLUMBIA RIVER: Kawawaki rushed for 124 yards on 19 carries and scored one touchdown in River’s win over Bainbridge.
CY WHITMIRE, WOODLAND: Whitmire rushed for 103 yards on eight carries and two touchdowns. He also caught an 28-yard touchdown reception in the Beavers’ win over Tenino.
