4A bi-district tennis tournaments

The Class 4A bi-district boys and girls tennis tournaments will conclude Saturday at Auburn Riverside High School. Any player or doubles team who survived to play this week have already locked berths into next week’s state tournament.

The Union boys have a big lead in the team standings. The Titans have scored 20 points, well ahead of second-place Thomas Jefferson. Skyview is tied for sixth with seven points.

The girls team race is much tighter. Skyview, Battle Ground and Kentridge are tied for first with 11 points. Union is in fourth place with nine points.

Here is the schedule for Saturday’s matches:

BOYS SINGLES — SEMIFINALS

Kent Andreason (Skyview) vs. Kainoa Rosa (Thomas Jefferson), 10 a.m.

Alex Wallace (Union) vs. Mitch Stewart (Federal Way), 10 a.m.

Championship and third-place matches at 1 p.m.

BOYS DOUBLES — SEMIFINALS

Mark Bright/Connor Horne (Union) vs. Stormans/Wood (Olympia), 10 a.m.

Championship and third-place matches at 1 p.m.

BOYS DOUBLES — CONSOLATION SEMIFINALS

Andrew Bagherpour/Jacob Buckley (Union) vs. 8:30 a.m. winner, 10 a.m.

Fifth-place and seventh-place matches at 1 p.m.

GIRLS SINGLES — SEMIFINALS

Sammi Hampton (Skyview) vs. Kailyn Skjonsby (South Kitsap), 11:30 a.m.

Jelena Vidovic (Union) vs. Kylee Tyler-Breimon, 11:30 a.m.

Championship and third-place matches at 2:30 p.m.
