TRACK AND FIELD

Oregon Relays Skyview’s Jameson Shirley, Heritage’s Sean Keller and Camas’ Alexa Efraimson each posted victories at the prestigious Oregon Relays in Eugene, Ore. Shirley cleared a personal outdoor best of 14 feet, 9 inches to win the pole vault. Keller won the javelin at 213-11, well short the state’s best mark of the year. Of course, Keller holds that mark, too (230-7), and no one else has thrown better than 200 feet. And Efraimson won the 1,500 meters in 4 minutes, 34.23 seconds.

Other notable marks included Camas’ Triton Pitassi placing second in the boys hammer (175-4), Skyview’s Madison Lanford placing second in the girls 300 hurdles (46.22), Camas’ Amber Corbett placing second in the javelin (126-8) and teammate Rachel Martschinske taking second in the girls hammer (122-9), and Mountain View’s Kathran Dean placing second in the triple jump (36-11) and fourth in the long jump (17-9 3/4)
