Bowen, Corral on All-State series roster

Skyview’s Brooke Bowen, Prairie’s Heather Corral and Skyview coach Jennifer Buscher will take part in the All-State girls basketball series Saturday at Seattle Christian High School.

Bowen will be on the Class 4A team, which will be coached by Buscher. The 4A team will face the Class 3A team at 6 p.m.

Corral, on the 3A roster, said she will be there but only for support from the bench. She is scheduled to undergo surgery on both knees next week. She called it a “clean-up” surgery on her right knee and a surgery to fix the cartilage in the left knee.

There series begins with the 1B vs. 2B game at 2 p.m. followed by the 1A vs. 2A game at 4 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students.
