Heather Corral is TNT’s state player of the year
The Tacoma News Tribune announced its all-state teams for girls and boys basketball, and Clark County has plenty of representation.
Heather Corral of Prairie was named the player of the year after guiding the Falcons to the Class 3A state championship.
Brooke Bowen, a senior from Skyview, was named to the second team.
Skyview coach Jennifer Buscher, meanwhile, was named the girls coach of the year. The Storm won the Class 4A state title.
Union senior Jordan Chatman, a 6-foot-4 guard, was named to the first team for the all-state boys team. He helped the Titans finish third in the 4A state tournament and was named the tourney’s MVP.
Caleb Dressler of Evergreen, a 6-11 post, made the second team.
