River’s Bartek wins Kelso preseason golf jamboree

High school girls golfers were treated to sunny skies to play their preseason jamboree at Three Rivers Golf Course in Kelso on Wednesday.

Columbia River’s Chloe Bartek posted the day’s best score with a 40. She was followed by Camas’ Rio Smith (41), Prairie’s Jamie Stilwell (45) and River’s Amanda Coore (Columbia River).

Prairie had the best team score at 205. Mountain View was second (209) followed by Camas (210), Mark Morris (214), Columbia River (244), R.A. Long (260), Hudson’s Bay (329) and Washougal (341). Kelso and Fort Vancouver were incomplete.

The regular season begins Monday.
