Prairie’s consistent trio

Prairie junior Cori Woodward led the Falcons in scoring at the state tournament. Nothing fancy. Just 12 points here. Another 12 points. And then 13 in the title game.

Just consistent.

Woodward scored eight of her points in the final quarter Saturday, helping Prairie secure the victory.

A year ago, I wrote about a trio of super sophomores: Jackie Lanz, Megan Lindsley, and Cori Woodward. All three of them improved their play their junior seasons and will be instrumental next season in Prairie’s effort to defend this title.

Woodward had 37 points in the three games, Lindsley finished with 33, and Lanz had 30.

Just consistent.
