Seahawks honor Eagle, Greenleaf
During the football season, the Seattle Seahawks and Sterling Savings Bank named “NFL High School Coaches of the Week.”
For Week 9, Camas’ Jon Eagle was one recipient, and for Week 6, Woodland’s Mark Greenleaf was recognized.
Camas was coming off a 55-0 win over Kelso in Week 9. Woodland was coming off a 42-14 win over R.A. Long.

Each coach received a $500 cash donation for their football program from the Seattle Seahawks and a $225 Sports Authority gift card, coach’s kit and Seahawks jacket from Sterling Savings Bank.
Eagle, Greenleaf, and the other weekly award recipients, will be recognized at CenturyLink Field during halftime of the Seahawks’ Monday Night Football game Dec. 12 against the St. Louis Rams.
Now in its 16th season, the NFL High School Coach of the Week program is a partnership between the Washington State Football Coaches Association, Seattle Seahawks and Sterling Savings Bank.
Following the season, one coach will receive the Jim Ennis Award for High School Coach of the Year. The 2011 NFL High School Coach of the Year for the state of Washington will receive a $2,000 cash grant.
