Six selected to Borderclash
Six Clark County runners have been selected to compete in the Nike Borderclash cross country meet Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Nike World Headquarters Campus in Beaverton, Ore.
The Borderclash is an annual race of the top high school cross country runners from Washington against their counterparts from Oregon. Berths on each team are based on performances in the high school state championships.
Skyview’s Colby Gilbert is the Clark County boy on the Washington team. On the girls team is Union’s Alexis Fuller, Camas’ Alexa Efraimson, Austen Reiter and Megan Napier and Prairie’s Nicole Goecke.
The Nike Borderclash will begin with the boys race at 10 a.m., followed by the girls race at 10:45 a.m.
