Andreasen signs with Portland

Skyview High tennis standout Kent Andreasen will be playing tennis for the Portland Pilots.

Andreasen signed his National Letter of Intent with the Pilots on Friday.

“We are thrilled to have Kent as part of the team at UP. He is a local kid and very familiar with our program. Kent will help us right away as his net game is more advanced right now then 90% of players playing college tennis,” coach Aaron Gross noted. “As he gains confidence and strength I think he will become one of the best PNW players we will have had in the program by the time he is done.”

“We feel great about our early signings,” Gross added. “To get Kent (ranked #3 in the PNW) to go along with Paxton Deuel (ranked #2 in PNW) we feel extremely fortunate.”
