Notes: The Lions beat Decatur last week to clinch their first postseason berth in the seven-year school history. … Lions had lost back-to-back games to ranked teams, No. 2 Lakes (62-7) and No. 7 Peninsula (36-10). … Korchemniy has had six 100-yard rushing games. … Junior QB Rockey had a rough game against Decatur, completing 8 of 25 passes for 89 yards. … Rockey has thrown for 1932 yards this season, but 1,435 came in the first five games.

MOUNTAIN VIEW (7-2)

Notes: The Thunder like to mix it up on the rushing game, handing the ball off to a variety of backs. But Rivers has received the bulk of the carries during the season half of the season which has seen Mountain View win its final four games. … The Thunder are seeking their first postseason victory since 2004. … The Thunder are 5-0 this season in their home blue uniforms.

Bottom line: Look for both teams to run the ball first. But the QBs may end up deciding this one.
