Week 8 football preview: Taholah vs. King’s Way Christian

When, where: 1 p.m. Saturday at WSD’s Devereaux Field.

Last meeting: Taholah won 66-44 on Oct. 22, 2010 in Taholah.

Last week: Taholah beat Lake Quinault 42-0.

Taholah (3-3): Two of the Chitwins three losses have come against Wishkah Valley (56-14 on Sept. 17 and 28-20 on Oct. 7). The other loss came to Mary M. Knight (22-20).

King’s Way Christian (5-1): King’s Way beat Oakville 68-6 on Oct. 8 and the Knights scored 72 second-half points to beat Wishkah Valley 78-52. … QB Jay Becker passed for 428 yards and 8 TDs vs. Wishkah, and ran for 198 yards and two more TDs. … WR Chris Crenshaw caught eight passes for 266 yards and 5 TDs.

Bottom line: King’s Way is unbeaten against in-state opponents and league play.
